You may be a
parent, someone who
works with children, or who
appreciates what children bring to life. Regardless of what brings you to the site, I hope you will find helpful resources, be challenged, and even contribute what you have observed and experienced for the benefit of all. LEARN BY JOINING CHILDREN I believe so strongly that we have much to learn by joining children in their quest for God. They come into this world with a strong innate capacity and desire to know the God who made them. They are the original image bearers of God’s light and love in this world. Over time that image gets dulled by the ravages of life and the logical mind, but it is still there. Children are in the formation stage of their relationship with God, but over time they will need God’s transforming power to cleanse their hearts and continue to release His light in a world that so desperately needs it. In order for that to happen, they need caring adults who are willing to name their experiences of God and encourage and nurture them in that relationship. JOY AND STRENGTH TOGETHER I hope this website will attract many of you who are already in those relationships with children and are nurturing and encouraging them. If you are, I know you have discovered the joy that comes from watching children in relationship with God. I hope, through the tools that are available to us, we will find each other and form new bonds that will strengthen us in our resolve to help children know and love God. |
